Answer will depend on who you talk to...I have had my Bernina for 20 years and love it...Pfaff users love their machines...so do Viking machine users, etc. Best thing if you are going to be shopping for a machine is to take along fabrics you would be sewing on and try different machines, stitches, techniques and buy the one you are happiest with.
