I remember the centerpiece for the dining room table she made with three candles and pine branches. Sweet memories!!! Chris
When I was in Junior Achievement, our project one year was so similar to this...we took two wax slabs, heated them with a blowtorch on one side each so we could put a wick in between and it would stay---and then whipped melted wax with a hand mixer until white and fluffy. "Frosted" the wax slabs with the white froth (made it look like snow with uneven drifts all over) then sprinkled with glitter before it dried. They were huge candles but beautiful and very easy!
