I generally try to buy only the color tatchit (those plastic tags) that are on sale. That brings the fabric to about what I think a thrift store price should be. I only buy what I like, too and will leave some fabric there. I don't see as much of it as when we had regular routes and used to go out once a week and hit 5 or 6 different stores: Goodwill, Sally, Value Village, Kidney Foundations, St Vinnies, Last Chance. Our Last Chances have half off everything on Mon so that's the best day to go, other wise I think they are overpriced.We live in metro Atlanta and I bet there are 50 different thrift stores around the metro area. If you live near a big city it might pay to check it out.
