You could iron your fabric to a piece of freezer paper to hold it firm while you write , then peel it off to finish. no harm done. Actually can cut it a little bigger, easier to hold then trim to size.
Are you familar with useing your printer to print on fabric? Theres probably a tutorial here on that.
