These are hand sewn. I'm just not happy with the way my machine sewn blocks turn out, so I usually sew them by hand.
Wow your blanket stitch is so uniform and perfect, I just assumed you did that by machine. Amazing work!
On the black cat what is that embroidery stitch you use? Is that what they call a chain stitch?
Finally, last question I promise. What technique do you use for your applique? Fusible, needle turn, or prepared (where you baste down your seam allowance before appliqueing to background) or none of the above ?
