I don't think you should use baby oil to clean her up.
Your sewing oil will be ok to do that. I have read that some folks just use sewing oil to clean their machines. Have fun with her and congrats!
Billy recommends using Scotts Liquid Gold to clean and polish the machines, after using GoJo or other non-pumice hand cleaner to do a good scrubbing.
