Get a pair of cats. We used to have mice when we first married, but almost immediately got a kitten who was a savage hunter, never ever saw another one in the house. We've always had at least one cat over the years. No mice. No snakes, cats get them too.
Ramona - we have a cat and thus no mice in the house but even she wouldn't go into the garage...which she occassionally liked to sneak out there but not for the last few weeks - that was my first clue it needed a good cleaning - well that and the piles and mounds of junk and the fact we only had a 2 foot path to walk in....[/quote]

My Westie dog,Annie, is a good mouser. She doesn't often eat them, just kills the wee beasties.
