I have a special carrying case for sewing machines that I bought at least 7 years ago at Hancock's. It has wheels and an adjustable handle. It has at least 5 pockets and my machine fits in it (without its plastic cover) just fine. I travel back and forth to Wisconsin from Illinois at least twice a month and "where I go my Pfaff goes too". These bags came in all kinds of patterns and colors. I bought 2, one for my daughter and 1 for me. Love it. Good luck.
