I know what you mean about not having a good area for cats Dianna. I live near the highway and I was lucky that my last cats' mother taught her to stay away from cars,she lived 17 years, I am going to do that with Misty every time DH parks his car outside and she goes near it I will give her a little smack on her bottom and say NO and then take her away from the car. Hopefully it will work..She is adorable and maybe one day I will be able to get a kitten..My neighbors have these beautiful black cats with bright green eyes and every once in awhile the female cat will come over to visit..
