I've had insomnia most of my life; I don't suffer from it - I just have it. I limit my caffeine intake in general & don't have any after 2:00 pm. If I have a rough time getting to sleep, I will wait for 30 min then just sit up out of the bed for a while & go back to sleep. Lavendar, camomile & catnip with a pinch of valerian tea before bed helps.
