I have one of the sewing machine cases from Joann's. If I am just going across town, I slip my older Bernina in it without the hard case. I have room to put my foot and other notions in it, too. It is a little heavy, but rolls nicely.
Sometimes I take my FW instead, packed in its case and put it on a luggage cart.
