Thanks! Practice, practice, practice. I make a bunch of little scrap quilt 'sandwiches' from leftover fabric & batting, and just keep practicing. Don't get frustrated, just keep trying. It's important that you relax, and I find that 'happy music' makes a 'happy treadler' (just like me). :mrgreen: Once you get a good rhythm going with your feet, you don't really have to think about it. It's important that you have your tension set up correctly, and a fm foot (or hopping foot) helps a lot too, as well as lightening up the pressure on the foot. I also use that slider mat to help my fabric have less drag (it's slippery). People tend to tense up their arms, neck, and shoulders, so concentrate on relaxing these parts.
