I have a little fold-up luggage carrier that I set my machine on and then strap it in with a bungee cord. I only take my 440 out if I need zig zag or quilting for a class. I have a soft Featherweight case (bought through an ad in a quilt mag) that I use most of the time. It has handles that make it very easy to carry. I think it was $40.00. I like it much better than the boxy one the FW comes in. The input to the question was interesting to read and helpful.
