I have a Voyager with SLR (Stitch Length Regulator)but I started with a domestic sewing machine and learned how to regulate my own stitches & speed before I got the Voyager.
You do know that you can buy a gizmo called Quilter's Cruise Control for many, many different machines and frames? Also, the Grace Frame company has some kind of control for their frames and many different machines.
