I think for your first time hand quilting ¼” would be good so you can practice hand quilting straight. I tried to zoom this picture in a little for you to see. Don’t laugh at the appliqué, it is definitely not my strong suit!!! I think this was the 1st time I hand quilted circles (paw prints.)
