Ok, when I was puttting the quilt top together, some little person decided that my big blocks of the wolfs needed extra trimming..... :-( ho hum...anyways I worked with with blocks and just sewed the top together...now we know this top isn't close to being square and in order to square it, I would be cutting off points in the side blocks and really just making a mess with the corner wolf blocks...sooooooo I was thinking, the first border needs to be cut 3" wide, could I cut the first border 3 1/2", add it to the unsquare top then trim my border back, so it becomes square...there is 2 more borders to add. Will this work?????
here is the quilt I'm making, this is just a picture of a finished one, this is not mine...
