I have a Kenmore I got in 69 or 70 can't remember. Yours must be early 60's or late 50's as it looks nothing like mine. Somewhere on it I found a date of the year so I knew it was a year old when I got it. I had to take my free arm Kenmore (22 years old) (2nd machine)for service. They cleaned, oiled & re timed it. It was worth the $55.00 dollars I spent. I would recommend it highly. I use this second machine for jeans & zig zag stuff. My mom has a White she got in 50's. It has a box of cams to use but I never tried any of them & I don't remember her ever using them either. Get some canned air, it is really good for cleaning out junk, kunk & fuss.
