Hi, I'm from Baltimore Maryland. Have been monitoring this sight for months and I am thrilled with all the information, and tips you have. It has given me the nerve to try a nine blade fan project. I don't like sewing curves, I stopped sewing dresses because I had to set sleeves.
The project officially started the first of april, I made a pratice piece and worked out any major problems. With a material that asked to be made into a quilt I think this going to be a good experience. It requires 52 8" blocks. I will spend the next three days cutting the blade pieces.
It usually takes me four months from the day I decide the kind of quilt until I put on the binding. I estmate this will take no less than six. Wish me luck.
