I bought one from Joannes on sale -- is large with extra pockets for scissors, etc. It's fabric but has hard sides and is large enough for the Janome 6500. Then I hit yard sales and Craigs list because I'd like to teach some quilting to those who aren't so fortunate and probably won't have machines. Found several old Singers but needed something to pack them in. The old machines (485s & 600s amoung others) are too tall for the regular Singer cases, so I ordered one with wheels from Nancy's Notions. It is a good size, but the sides are just heavy fabric -- no extra cushion. It was about $79. I spotted a duo (machine case on wheels with another case to sit on it at:
