As for pillow shams, I am visualizing two exactly as the center (smaller to fit the size of the pillow case), side by side, & then the case made a bit bigger with a two inch or two & a half inch flat border on all sides. Hope I made that clear? Then for toss pillows, use the flowers on one side, & maybe the geometric shapes on the other side for variety. To buffer it all, how about some of the long round neck pillows in plain white or one of the very tiny print solids you described? Instead of using lace as most do, use some of the coordinating, lesser used color for prairie points on the seam ends.
