Well, here it is! All just laying out on the design wall. Haven't touched it since 4/2 when I took these pics, but it's one of those quilts that you can just keep adding to with the scraps you accumulate! I started out just sewing strips together of 1-1/2", 1" and 2". Then I loved the idea of showcasing alot of my really large florals for the center 3.5" block. The best blocks are done just mixing 2 different florals together and wow they look good! I did put a bird in one, a purple butterfly in another one, and believe it or not, I have cowboys and indians in another one!! haha. But from a distance it looks great just seeing the horse's feet. ;) I'll have to get pics of those for you, but I do have alot of pics I took along the way. I think this will end up being a large lap quilt! Enjoy my X blocks!

the black and white check fab, bottom left corner, is from my son's pants when he was 4 yrs. old! (the only clothing in it)
