Ok - I have an 875Q - when mine started making loud noise - it was not threaded correctly - for instance the thread coming down front to the needle - would either be wrapped around wrong or it wasn't threaded through that little doo hickey right above the needle - I know this isn't a great explanation - but try to re thread again - usually this helps. :)
