Oh yes, the 'big marshmallow' is up and everything is looking nice. The storefronts downtown have quilts in the windows and everyone is polishing and sweeping. I was at the Museum on Tuesday and there were several groups of folks already in town waiting for the doors to open.

Everyone needs to visit the Amish store downtown. I know most of you are aware of the Amish children that were drowned during a flash flood a couple of months ago...their mother turned to quilting to help deal with her loss. The proceeds from the quilts will be used to fund their school. She joined a group of women who made these quilts and friends are selling them during the show.

ssgramma: When I was in college, we made the drive from Murray State to WKU several times to go to concerts...WKU had waaay better artists!(saw James Taylor there)We thought nothing of driving over and back...but we were decades younger then too!
