Hi, I have an 830, & I have an older Janomi (Memorycraft 3000) & yes, the 830 is the nosier one, but sews great. As for cleaning, I have read, & heard, you have to take them in for this, as they have the specialty tools to open them up & clean them out properly, but, I too, would like to know how to do this at home myself. Mine is on a quilting frame, & I have done enough quilts on it yet, to worry about it, but am still curious. I make mostly smaller quilts too, so that helps. I can't see having it serviced once a year, if it's not been used that much, & doesn't need it yet. So any cleaning info would be helpful, thanks!
