We have lots of members and I am sure you can find a quilting buddy in your area, go to user list and search for your area
also on your user profile and you put where you are from so other quilters can find you
also another way is to set up a meet and greet in your area like at a local quilt shop, post a note here on the offline section and I am sure you can find quilters in your areas
I have set some meet and greets up in Indiana, and we have 8 members at one and 13 at another one, the quilt shops gave us goody bags and door prizes. we met at local quilt shop, and shop shop shop and then met up for lunch at a restaurant where we had a private room for 3 hours for lunch, show and tell and demonstrations, was a fun day
