I am in the process of deciding what size to make pinwheels in a toddler quilt. I have some Moda Recipe for Friendship charms I want to use and am thinking of using the method where you layer two charms facing and stitch a quarter inch seam around the parameter then cut crisscross for the HST's. This method will give me smaller pinwheels than if I make the HST's by drawing a line through the middle and stitching on each side of the line. My question is what size pinwheel do you like and how big do you think is getting too big in a toddler sized quilt, about 36x56? And now that I have asked that I want to know what size do you think is good for a toddler bed?

Thanks, Linda
