Kyiav~I've made lots of blocks for the same quilt that didn't all wind up the exact same size. When that happens, and I'm able to trim them up (due to the fact that there are no points I'd cut off if I trimmed), I usually just wait until I'm all done making all the blocks, measure them all, then find the smallest one (after it's been squared nicely) and trim all the other blocks to that size. No one will ever know that those 11¼" finished blocks were supposed to be 12"! :D

I've also made blocks that couldn't be trimmed due to a point coming out to within ¼" of the edge and I didn't want to cut off that point. In that case, I just try to "ease" the blocks together the best I can so they fit when I sew them together.

I can't wait to see this quilt when it's done either. It's going to be so cute!!
