MissEllie sent me this quilt.
She made it for her daughter and the fabrics were given to Missellie by her own mother years ago. She made the quilt and has been waiting for the perfect time to get it finished...I am so honored.

I have to say there are 100's of HST and I didn't see one point cut off! Exceptional piecing!

I wanted to highlight the pattern in this scrappy quilt....The black square on point, the red star and the flying geese borders. I put in feather wreaths, feather swags, stipple in several areas to highlight the design elements and simple wavy line to break up some areas and provide texture. That's my favorite word "texture".

I used Hobbs polydown batting.

I quilted this on my 26 INNOVA. No computer or pantograph quilting.

Thanks for looking!
