If you can buy the pattern/directions without any of the fabric that is what I would suggest. Or Keepsake Quilting has the Bali Bedrunner pattern to make a 30 x 104 cover which includes the paper piece pattern, directions and the fabric for the background.
Would love to see pictures of this when you are finished.
