Can't you go to Canada and get married? If you had to get an apartment for a few months for residents. You could still have the ceremony even if it isn't legal here. I have friends that moved to Canada just for that reason.
We could also go to several other states to get married. I don't "need" a piece of paper, I all ready know we are married.
