It's hard to imagine without pics, but I do have some.

I am making a warm wishes pattern. The main fabric will be Veggie tales http://www.wishuponaquilt.com/cgi-bi...es=0&lastmenu=

The three stripes she wants. The middle (wider) stripe will be a nice plant green that matches the veggie tales fabric:

It's the little strips that I'm worried about clashing. They are going to be the two colors that "frame" the focus fabric. She wants eggplant and carrot. What do you think of these?

I want all of the colors to be bright because the recipient is a little handicapped boy that loves veggie tales. He can see some bright colors. The brighter the better.

Do purple and orange clash? Since I can't tell the difference between pink and orange, I had my kids pick the orange out. They all agreed it's orange, so I don't think they are playing a joke on me. The purple and orange won't actually touch eachother in any of the blocks. They will be framing the focus fabrics.

I found the COOLEST stripe for the borders.

What do you guys think?
