That is what I did. I took a class years ago on this. It is a very easy technique too.
Funny: there were only 3 or 4 of us in the class at a LQS. As we were so few we said it was OK if store patrons came in and looked. They all raved about our different choices and said to a
T that they didn't even consider the class because the front of the book showed a WR quilt that non of us liked due to the color combinations used. BTW, that quilt was made for her daughter and was why she choose it.
Another reason why LQS's need to display class quilts before the sign ups.
