I've been looking for fabrics to do the small borders and the sashing for my blue mirage quilt and so far haven't found anything spectacular. But I did run across something I think might possibly work for someone using a black background. It's actually a holiday fabric, but some of the scrolly sections could be used for a border if they're wide enough:
