Your gardens look great...I have a question for ya. I once read that sunflowers will attract fireflys. Do you find that this is true? I love fireflys and have wanted to attract them to my home so that I can introduce my grandkids to them. Have you noticed fireflys in your gardens with the sunflowers in them? Can hardly wait for your reply. Oh, just had a thought, if there are any pesticides in use , you may not see any.

I only grow organic, and the Sunflowers act as a natural pesticide...they give the bad bugs something to eat other than my garden! :D
As for fireflies, we rarely see any around here...I am in town and live in a farm area that LOVES their chemicals....but I will keep a closer eye out this year...I know they attract TONS of bees! (but only in the day time)
