I redid my kitchen two years ago and it still looks great. I have been emailed a few times asking what I have used and how it is holding up. It still looks wonderful...I spent a total of 120.00 the most costly items were buying knobs for the cabinets. If you have those laminate cabinets and countertops I highly recommend redoing them. pictures are located on my blog. For my kitchen counter I used Minwax waterbased Polycrylic protective finish over the stone paint about 6 coats they recommended 10 coats. it makes a wonderful smooth coating.
