Miranda, I never took a cake dec. class, but my mom did, several years back, so I played around a bit with it, for kids.
Quilting, cake decorating, bet you draw too? I love to draw, but for some reason, I hardly ever do. Just for appliqueing and for grandbaby. My middle daughter made straight A's in art, all thru high school.
Think I have seen a recipe like this one, somewhere before. I really shouldn't eat cake, but thought others might enjoy it. It's a neat idea. :D
