Billy - thank goodness that tornado didn't touch down on you, but I feel so helpless for all the others. May you be as lucky through the rest of this awful storm season!

Shortstuff - thank goodness that you were spared, too. It's so hard to comprehend when you see huge trees blown over.

We had a tornado touch down in our town several years ago (very unusual in CT) and the ONLY thing it did was to take down many 100 and 150 year old maples. None of them hit power lines or houses, but it was a shocking display of nature's power.
