Brynn, the Essential cotton thread from Connecting Threads is my hands down favorite. I use it for piecing and quilting both. Less lint, no shredding, no breaking, no problems at all for several years now. Their prices can not be beat. I go through a cone or 2 a year in Cornsilk and Neutral colors; have many other colors for the actual quilting.
