I belong to two guilds also...they are as different as night and day. The night one has an ongoing applique marathon going on. Who can put the most flowers, leaves etc on a quilt. They have won quilt honors at shows so they know what their doing. The other is a majority of beginners and my DD and I teach alot of lessons. We have members that come right and tell us they come for interaction with other women and the lunch LOL I think I really like the day guild better cuz I don't feel any need at all to compete
