When considering spending this kind of money, it is always wise to understand just what you can and cannot do with a short arm machine. Research all you can, but also get as much hands on you can find. Most large guild shows and manufacture shows will have at least one company represented with a working model. I would never purchase a sewing machine or quilter online, without actually using it.
