Ggreenridley...The white ones are egrets. The pink ones are Roseate spoonbills. I believe these egrets are Snowy Egrets. Great whites had left area. We also saw quite a few cattle egrets in breeding plummage...none in these photos. Actually there were several other herons and others at the site...It's interesting to see how they all share the same area, with nests within a few inches of each other. I'm a bit new at birding--though I have a lot in my yard--cardinals, jays, sparrows, chickadees, hummingbirds, wrens, warblers--even a couple of kinds of woodpeckers. Today I saw a robin and often we have others that pass through the area.
