I know how to cut my own bias. I was wondering if anyone "cut down" a purchased wider premade bias tape............
example: 1/2 inch double fold bias tape cut in half lengthwise so 3 yards becomes six yards
Granted, this is another of my brainstorms :D
I'm just using plain black cotton fabric. If you cut ready made tape lengthwise, your problem would be you'd only have a fold on one side. I can really vouch for the gadget, it works really well; The advantage as well is you can use any colour fabric and your not tied to the ready made colour range. It also will work out cheaper in the long run! :D
