I cut them 2in wide, and sewed a good quarter inch in the seams, rather than a scant quarter in.
When you are doing on point, then the world is your oyster with layouts and width of sashings, borders etc.
Lace, this is good to know. I keep a notebook on each quilt, and when the time comes, I don't want to be all goofed up on the measurements. It's my hardest thing about quilting, I'm pretty sure.
How would I know, there is so much left to explore! How did I get so blessed to have such talented and generous friends?
