We can always tell the 1st of March, and sept they come by the thousands heading north, then south. All the birds. Now we have red wings, oreole, tangera's,black birds, woodpeckers, etc. We have some other ones that are smaller, gillions of them, not the tiny ones. They take up 4 streaches of power lines, with 4 lines pr pole. They come down and scoop up water and dunk to drink. We have to ride right through them.Their awesome.Wished I knew what they were.I'm sure their getting rest and feed to head north. We already have babies hatched in our trees. The monarch butterflies will be coming soon from Mexico way headed up north. They too come by the thousands. It's like a blizzard of butterflies.Amazing how they can fly so far.I love this time of year.
