I agree. I love to sit and finish the quilt on my lap.I guess in a way I am saying goodbye to the quilt as most of mine are given away. Just love the "feel."

I really prefer to hand stitch the binding. Don't know why but I do. I guess it is a little more of me sewn in the quilt.
