If I had to guess I would say the late 70's or early 80's. All the 50's and earlier quilts barely covered the top of the bed. After the bicenntenial in 1976 quilts became popular as bedspreads. This is about the right size for a twin bed. Of course, it could be made from much some older fabrics, but that multicolor stripe looks just like some I had in the late 70's.
