I went back to school 20 years after getting my associates RN, and finally finished on 4/26/11. I played hooky from homework one saturday early in april and checked out a LQS- I knew I wanted to do a bargello since the pictures on this board are soo pretty, and the lady at the store was very helpful when picking out colors. I had the stack of folded FQ sitting on my desk for the last 3 weeks of school, and could not wait to dive into them as soon as school was done. I spray basted it last night, and today will be practicing FMQ on my practice squares until I feel brave enough to start the quilt. I am thinking of following the curves for the darker stripes, and doing a swirly line of circles for the lighter stripes.
