You may be arthritic but it sounds like your home is very clean. I could NEVER spread a quilt on my kitchen floor. I have however used the living room floor. Getting up and down is not easy for me either as I have had partial ankle fusion of both ankles in the last three years. My heart goes out to you. Hang in there.
