Greetings all, I am Lisa
I have been a quilter for about 8 years. Still consider myself intermediate. I machine piece and hand quilt. I tried machine quilting but for me it felt stressful compared to my relaxing handquilting. I live in Randolph MA, about 12 or so miles outside of Boston. I am recently a "displaced worker"..aka, laid off. So I am spending this time job hunting and enjoying some major quilting time.
I have a wonderful DH and we have 2 great kids, Emi almost 20 and Chris 17.
We also have 3 Scottish Terrier and 2 crazy cats.
I look forward to reading messages on the board and meeting lots of other quilters and hopefully learning a thing or 2 and maybe if I am lucky making new friends.
