I love my Fiestaware, but it has a tendency to get utensil marks also. Have had a lot of different colors of it for years, and the older pale yellow and other pastels have been the worst - or at least show it more. They may be trying to address that issue with the newer colors - too soon to tell. We just live with it and when company comes I tend to bury the ugliest ones at the bottom of the stack. I have not tried to use scouring powder for fear of taking off the glaze (and because I'm lazy).
